Introducing Balkarn Brar, a member of our Procurement & Inventory Control team for our Automotive and Industrial Supply group.

Balkarn started his career at CTR just over 2.5 years ago and he's been a huge help with special projects such as our annual inventory count, along with counts throughout the year. His latest project is allocating bin locations to our inventory to speed up our picking process which naturally shortens our delivery times across the city. Well done partner!

Also, exciting news! Balkarn recently received his permanent Canadian residency status, congratulations from your CTR peers! We are so happy for you, and we can't wait to meet your parents who are visiting soon!

CTR Flashback!

Our 3rd annual 'Wise to be Well' challenge this past spring was a hit! Together our employees raised almost $1800 for the Canadian Cancer Care Foundation by getting out and exercising!

How does this challenge work you ask?!?! CTR pays per KM, $1 for those walking or running and 50 for those on bikes and skateboards. Our staff voted for their preferred charity and this year Cancer Care was chosen. Thank you CTR! You are wise to be well!

Cheers to Kim Rasmussen, our Auto Industrial External Sales Business Developer, for your AMAZING ice cream bar for Brunswick Steel! This has become an annual treat from CTR to Brunswick and Kim knocks it out of the park every time. Over the years, Brunswick Steel and Kim have formed a great relationship as her efforts are the best in class. Kim manages their VMI, and we supply Kim with several supports out of both locations (986 Wall St and 220 Transport Rd) to ensure Brunswick is taken care of. GRILL & GREET EVENT HIGHLIGHTS - July 13th, 2023

Over 500 attendees had a blast engaging with our 8 supplier booths, featuring 12 enthusiastic representatives. From ice cream to chips, burgers to smokies, and European wieners to refreshing drinks, there was something for everyone's taste buds!

Our dedicated team went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience for all. They were there from 10 AM to 2 PM, making sure that every guest felt welcome and valued.

Speaking of value, nobody left empty-handed! Everyone who attended received incredible swag gifts, making it a truly unforgettable day. Additionally, a total of 24 prize packages were given away, with one lucky winner taking home the grand prize.

Additionally, our team also offered exclusive warehouse tours to showcase our state-of-the-art facilities, allowing guests to witness firsthand the high standards we maintain at CTR. Our customers were happy to see our large selection of heavy-duty parts and supplies!

The amazing reception and feedback we received warmed our hearts. Attendees raved about the event, praising the incredible culture at CTR. Smiling faces, helpfulness, and respect were the prevailing themes of the day. It's clear that our team goes the extra mile to create an unforgettable experience for everyone.

A Night to Remember!

To show our appreciation, CTR treated the team to an incredible Bomber night out! It was an absolute blast, great game and treats for everyone.
