1. What is something that surprised you about CTR?

What surprised me most was the support CTR has shown for my commitments outside of work, from my Special Olympics sports to volunteering back home at Camp Heal-A-Heart. Camp Heal-A-Heart saved my life and has had a lasting impact on so many people; I have been involved with Camp Heal-A-Heart for 25 years now and counting as both a camper & volunteer.

Also, CTR throughout the year did summer BBQ's, monthly birthday cake celebrations, and were so generous giving food over the Christmas holiday season.

CTR's understanding of how important this all is to me truly meant the world. Their ongoing commitment to the community makes me proud to be part of what they give back each year.

2. What has been your biggest win at CTR??

There have been many wins at CTR, but what stands out most is the management and strong family-style culture.

CTR is an equal opportunity, locally owned company that truly supports people from diverse backgrounds, including those with intellectual disabilities.

Despite challenges, I've received outstanding, unconditional support from management & colleagues, with respect, trust, and genuine accommodation of my needs. That means the world to me.

Thank you CTR for accepting me for who I am. I'll continue to give my best because I feel valued.

I am very thankful to all my CTR family who gave me an opportunity to work here, I really like the environment. Everyone is so friendly and kind. I never feel bored because everyday we get a new task and that's always fun for me!

CTR has given me several opportunities to growth within the company. I have moved from driving to dispatch, then picking and quality control, to shipping, and now I am doing internal sales on the front counter. I started in September of 2020 and I have learned so much in two and a half years!
